Baldi's Basics

In 2018 there was an event called Game Jam, where a group of game developers come together to make games. One person named Micah McGonigal (or better known as mystman12) decided to join and create what is known as Baldis Basics in Education and Learning. There are two endings, where you get all notebooks correct and escape, and one where you answer every question wrong and get the secret ending. You meet filename_2 here for the first time.. The characters in the classic game (as of today) are Baldi, Principal of The Thing, Playtime, Arts and Crafters, Its A Bully, First Prize, Gotta Sweep, and an "accidental" character, filename_2 (or NULL). He submitted the game 22 minutes and 38 seconds before the deadline, and his game ended up getting second place.

People loved it so much that he decided to continue it. He worked on BB+ for about 6 years, and while that was in the works, a 1 year celebration of the classic game was released called "Baldis Basics 1 Year Bash". This was essentially the original game, except all items were replaced with a gift that, when opened, gives you a random item.

Later came the release of Baldis Basics Classic Remastered, where there are three special game modes: Classic, Birthday Bash, and Demo. In the Birthday Bash mode, its essentially the one year anniversary of BBiEaL, but with extras. You can get an item called a Dangerous Teleporter. Once you blow out the candle in the cafeteria, you can use the Dangerous Teleporter to get back down to the main area of the school. In the principal's office you'll meet filename_2 again. He again crashes your game, causing you to reopen it. In Demo mode, it is a demo version of what we know as "Baldi's Basics +". It shows future features, new characters, and at the end when you beat it, a special ending showing a kickstarter for the full game.

In Baldi's Basics Plus, you are met with a screen showing Baldi holding a clipdoard. In order to create a save file, you enter a name to continue. The playthrough is generally the same as the first two games, except there are new features such as captions, aouto-generated levels, and custom seeds for levels. There are also some new characters introduced, such as: Mrs. Pomp, Chalkles, Students. There are a few new items introduced, such as: Diet BSODA, Dusty Chalk Eraser, Slippery Banana Peel, Techno Boots, An Apple for Baldi.
